My name is Eria Templeton, I am the director at Kiddie Kollege ELC. I have been employed at Kiddie Kollege ELC for 18 years. During my time at Kiddie Kollege, I managed to Attend Haywood Community College where I received my Associated Degree in Early Childhood Education, received my bachelor’s Degree in Child Development at Ashford University and one semester away from receiving my Teaching License (just need to finish up my student teaching) from Western Carolina. I have enjoyed working at Kiddie Kollege, just seeing these children as they grow to become successful individuals make me feel like I have contributed toward society. I am a mother of two, my son is 15 and my daughter is 12. Outside of KKELC, I love to spend time with family, friends and traveling.
NC Pre-K Assistant Teacher
Hello, my name is Mary Clendenin, and I am a teacher in the 3-year-old classroom. I have been in Early Childhood for 15+ years. I am currently enrolled at Mitchell Community College to acquire my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.
I was born in Texas but was raised in Louisiana, although I call North Carolina home. I am a mother of 2 boys and have four beautiful grandchildren.
I am a dedicated to the social and emotional development of each child and make it my goal to make sure that each child receives the best care and love that they all deserve. I strive to ensure that the children achieve their milestones and can learn together as a unit. I decided to make early learning my life’s work because I believe each child's education should be of the utmost importance.
Hello, my name is Samantha Lambert. I am a lead teacher for the three year old classroom. As of now, I have my credentials, and I am working towards having my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education at Wilkes Community College. Working with children has been a passion and calling for my life. Seeing and working with the children to strengthen their development brings me joy. My hope is to spread joy, encouragement, and support for each and every child in my classroom.
My favorite thing to do is spend time with family and friends. I enjoy going to the lake, mudding, and watching movies.
My name is Chelsea Cerone and I’ve been in childcare since 2018. My mom was a preschool teacher until I graduated high school. As you can imagine, I grew up helping her cut and laminate papers, organize her classroom, and set up for end of the year programs. I never really thought about going into the career myself until my sister and one of our friends said the daycare they worked at was hiring. I thought about it and knew it would be something that I would enjoy and could do well. I’ve loved it ever since. I’ve been with all ages, in the kitchen, and even helped out in the office, and I truly enjoy all of it. I’m excited to see where it takes me. In my spare time I like to do photography, go hiking, have game nights with family and friends, and watch the Chicago Bears games with my husband.

I am looking forward to serving our Friends at Kiddie Kollege and introducing to them good healthy food choices.
My goals for Kiddie Kollege E.L.C are:
To introduce new and exciting recipes to our Friends.
Teaching Good Food Habits: Like reading and writing, brushing teeth, and hand washing, learning good food habits is a life skill that can help a child live a healthy life.
