Chelsea Cerone
Teacher
ABOUT ME

My name is Chelsea Cerone and I’ve been in childcare since 2018. My mom was a preschool teacher until I graduated high school. As you can imagine, I grew up helping her cut and laminate papers, organize her classroom, and set up for end of the year programs. I never really thought about going into the career myself until my sister and one of our friends said the daycare they worked at was hiring. I thought about it and knew it would be something that I would enjoy and could do well. I’ve loved it ever since. I’ve been with all ages, in the kitchen, and even helped out in the office, and I truly enjoy all of it. I’m excited to see where it takes me. In my spare time I like to do photography, go hiking, have game nights with family and friends, and watch the Chicago Bears games with my husband.

Margit Robinson
Chef
ABOUT ME

My name is Margit Robinson. I have been in the food industry for 28 years. I have held my ServSafe Certificate for 12 years. I first started as a waitress in a small town café, my duties changed over the years and cooking became part of my job. I found my niche in life, it was cooking for others. I loved cooking! I worked for the Windmill Café for 5 years and was offered to buy it in 1995. I ran this local icon (est. 1950’s) for 10 years. In 2005 my husband and I decided to move south, because we were tired of the cold winters. After moving to our home in North Carolina, I worked part-time for Statesville Auto Auction for 8 years. I am looking forward to serving our Friends at Kiddie Kollege and introducing to them good healthy food choices.

My goals for Kiddie Kollege E.L.C are:
-
To introduce new and exciting recipes to our Friends.
-
Teaching Good Food Habits: Like reading and writing, brushing teeth, and hand washing, learning good food habits is a life skill that can help a child live a healthy life.
